Episode 2: Navigating College with a Disability
In this episode, Bailey gets the opportunity to talk to her first non-athlete guest, Monica Mesecar! Monica is a senior at the University of Notre Dame who has Cerebral Palsy; she has navigated its challenges her whole life. Bailey and Monica discuss what those who do not have a disability can do to better understand and be allies, while also shedding light on some of the difficulties that disabled students may struggle with during college. Stronger Scars is overjoyed to begin the journey of sharing everyone's stories, beginning with Monica. She is a very awesome and deserving guest to provide some insight and share an important story from a view outside of athletics!
