Episode 13: Strong Tower

In the 13th episode of the season, Bailey hosts Maddy Broxterman, a softball player at Emporia State University. The two discuss the the love for the game that athletes develop and the determination to keep pushing forward. Maddy has undergone eight different knee surgeries and has not let any of them stand in the way of her achieving her goals. She also sheds some very wise and graceful words on narcotic addiction after having had her own battles with them over the years. Bailey holds Maddy with high regard since she is the first guest to openly talk about the subject. Both girls have come to the conclusion that God works in mysterious ways, and, although their trials with injury posed many obstacles, they would not trade the experiences for anything.
